1. Process background
    As the lightest metal structural material on earth, magnesium has many excellent characteristics. The specific strength of magnesium is very high, the density is about 2/3 of that of aluminum and 1/4 of that of iron; it also has good thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, dimensional stability, electromagnetic shielding, machining performance and recycling performance. These characteristics make it the preferred structural material in the automotive industry, aviation industry and electronics industry.
 
However, due to the very active chemical properties of magnesium, the standard electrode potential is very negative (-2. 36V), which leads to poor corrosion resistance of magnesium alloys. Serious corrosion is prone to occur in corrosive media. Moreover, the surface film of magnesium alloys Loose and porous, poor protection of the matrix. It is not suitable for most corrosive environments. The poor corrosion resistance of magnesium and its alloys limits its application to a certain extent. Therefore, it is very important to improve the corrosion resistance of magnesium and magnesium alloys.
At present, there are mainly the following methods to improve the corrosion resistance of magnesium and its alloys:
1. By reducing the content of "hazardous elements" iron, nickel, copper, cobalt, etc. in magnesium alloys;
2. Rare earth elements are added to the alloy to develop new corrosion-resistant magnesium alloy materials.
3. Surface coating treatment of magnesium alloy, using the barrier formed between the coating and the external environment to inhibit and alleviate the corrosion of magnesium alloy materials.
The third is the simplest and most effective method to prevent magnesium and magnesium alloys. In order to ensure that the coating can adhere well and has the self-repairing ability, pretreatment must be carried out before the coating to make the coating and the substrate have better adhesion. The chemical film formation is an important means of pretreatment before coating, which can enhance the adhesion of magnesium alloy surface coating treatment.
 
2. Product introduction
In the past, the chemical treatment agents for magnesium alloys were all chromate treatment agents, which contained harmful substances and caused environmental problems. This product (magnesium alloy chromium-free film 810 series) does not contain harmful substances such as chromium and cyanide. Using mature technology and raw materials, the process flow is simple, the maintenance is convenient, the energy consumption is low, the stability is good, and the product qualification rate is high. It is very suitable for industrialized assembly line production. The products meet the requirements of Samsung, Huawei, Foxconn and other multinational companies. The magnesium alloy treated by this process can be used as a coating bottom layer to obtain a film with excellent bonding strength, and as a protective layer to obtain excellent corrosion resistance.
Features:
①It does not contain harmful substances such as chromium, fluorine and cyanide.
② Does not contain manganese, boron and other chemical substances established by the PRTR law.
③Excellent corrosion resistance can be obtained (≧24Hrs Level 9).
④A film layer with excellent adhesion to the coating can be obtained (painting adhesion hundred grid test: no peeling).
⑤The film has low resistance and good electromagnetic wave shielding (below 0.3 ohm).
⑥The wastewater treatment is simple. After neutralization, add a small amount of precipitant to discharge.
